dapper is back

The dapper is back up on my etsy i had pulled them down for the show on black friday which all in all was a total bust for me, but it was certainly worth the try and i will be done with resin for a while ive got other plans and want to see where it takes me.

Whoo hooo!

it worked!!

Just pulled my first casting, a couple problem areas, nothing that i cant correct on pour #2. ill post pics tonight.

The dapper update

He's ready for the mold, in his box now and i will start resin this week so long as this mold does better than the last few, also there's a surprise for the first person who buys one of these little buggers.

More info on that soon to come, im currently working on a package idea, expect to see a change from my usual header card w/ baggie.

As i was discussing on the october toys forum there's a variant hat, for now a viking cap more will come if there's enough demand for a wave 2.

Been busy working on a few projects one is Dapper dinosaur, my first resin that will come with an accessory.

Just finished the sculpt so heres a couple teaser pics, he is just under 2 inches tall to the tip of his hat.

Snot beast v.2 wave 2

Wave 2 is in the works and should release within the week, sadly my mold tore so these will be the last 3, and as there were only 8 others 4 with me 3 sold and 1 with my brother, there are only to be 11 ever made.

The Monstersicle is sitting in his mold box now i should have him shortly as well!

Snot Beast V.2 update!

They're done! I will release them as packs of two figures for $18.50, each pair will come with a water color art card (one of which is my first attempt at watercolor)

Snot Beast V.2!

Snot Beast has a snazzy new sculpt and will be released in 3 pairs containing one V.1 and one V.2, with a random watercolor art card. as with my earlier releases they will be bagged with hand drawn header cards. Like i said this run would be different so i thought a new sculpt was in order, kind of a Frankenstein-ish pose.

Thinking of a price point and release date more news soon!

New sculpt!

The sculpt ive been keeping under wraps is almost done, so heres a preview of monstersicle the living Popsicle. He is about the average size of a real Popsicle 4 inches or so, ill measure em later.

Will be resin soon waiting on some silicone. im thinking about prices and release dates, mostly i made him to replace the shaman. Since my mold tore ill be putting the shaman project temporarily on the back burner.

Over at Monsterforge's blog he posted up a contest, as it is getting near the july 11th deadline I decided that more people need to know so heres the info on this awesome contest with one heck of a prize.

Recent stuff

. Been in a bit of a slump, working away on a 3rd batch of snot beasts thanks to battle grip and otaking encouraging more of these little fellows and will post a release date soon, been working on multiple customs and a hidden sculpt for a new toy with the sad destruction of my shaman molds(which i will be remaking).

Here's something i whipped up today on a break just to fill some blog space.

Some new art

Tried my hand at water color for the first time, and did a battle beast type sketch. considering selling the water color art cards, dunno yet.

Well sadly the shaman project is a bust for now as the mold had a thin spot and the resin burst through, so until i have enough silicone to do the three molds i need he will be on the back burner.

However in order to have that money i need a project to do it with, I'm currently working on two new sculpts and will post of some pics later on tonight.

Man i'm so damn stoked by how well these little guys have been doing, i cant wait to get the shaman casts pulled and see how you guys like em!

Snot Beast release tonight!

This is the second and final wave of Snot Beast, after this i retire the mold, so consider this as the last chance to nab one of these little critters.

Just like wave one every paint job is a 1 off and so is every hand drawn header card and They are just over 1inch in height.
left to right: Super glitter, kaiju colors, skeletor, radioactive (GID paint and a special surprise when under black light.) and last is monochromatic.

Snot Beast wave two

I'm currently working on the second and final wave of snot beast. I will release them midnight Saturday may 22nd. All new unique colorways and header cards. This will be the final run, i am now going to focus entirely on getting the shaman cast up and pump out wave 1, and getting to sculpting my next figure as well, will post sketches soon.
